Event Disclaimer / Terms and Conditions

I acknowledge and agree to the terms outlined for my own participation and on behalf of any other participants I am entering into this event, all of whom have received and accepted these terms:

 I acknowledge and accept that I am participating in this event at my own risk and that I must rely on my own skills in handling any potential dangers or hazards

 The function of any marshals is solely to indicate direction. It is my responsibility to determine if the movement is safe.

I agree that no liability whatsoever shall be attached to the organiser, promoter, promoting businesses or marshals in respect of any injury, loss or damage suffered by me on or by reason of the event, however caused

Included in the Terms is your agreement to abide by the following rules, failure to do so may result in time penalties or disqualification at the discretion of the Race Directors.

We do not provide personal injury insurance or income protection. By participating in our events, you acknowledge that we are not liable or responsible for any injuries or loss of income that may occur.

If you require an additional level of cover, you must organise it yourself.

Rules

  • Close all gates and leave no litter
  • If you arrive at a checkpoint after the cut-off you will be retired from the event.
  • If you have to retire you will still need to report to the finish
  • Maintain a 500-meter deviation limit from the route. If you accidentally go off track, return to the point of departure to avoid time penalties or disqualification, as determined by Race Directors, at race directors discretion.
  • Please make sure your supporters don’t wait for longer than necessary blocking access roads whilst waiting for you on the course.
  • Entry is at Competitors own risk and Survivor Trail Challenge will not be held liable for any injuries incurred during or as a result of the event.
  • Your entry details including medical declarations will be shared with the Race Director and Event Medical Team, and any other Medical Professional that may be involved in your care should it be required. This information will be destroyed after the event has concluded.
  • You will be asked to sign a paper copy of this disclaimer at registration before the race begins.
