I have now done 5 of these events and they are fantastic especially if your training for your first half, full or ultra marathon. The concept is brilliant along with a great atmosphere . The support from other runners and organisers is the best I've seen. I will definitely will be returning for more events.
Great fun, friendly atmosphere event run by experienced runners.
The events are a tough challenge to complete but are great for trying out longer distances in a controlled and supportive set up.

This is my 5th survivor ultra runing experience I have enjoyed every experience of each one I've done, I'd never ran a ultra until I ran my first survivor it is great training for hardmoors runs I still have a lot to learn, Craig and Emma always put on a great show and you meet lots of new friends

Fantastic relaxed atmosphere, with support all around from race directors to fellow runners. This event provides the freedom to test your personal physical and mental running strength. Today, my physical strength was insufficient, but wait until next time!

I’ve been lucky enough to take part in two Survivor events, both bringing together a cracking group of people. The camaraderie and atmosphere are first rate, welcoming, inclusive and grand fun. You’ll be guaranteed an array of outfits, lots of tea, fab organisation and a lovely goody bag. Laps generally aren’t my kind of thing. It’s a credit to Craig and Emma that I returned and will return again.
I do a lot of events and this low key very friendly event is right up there with the best. Organised and attention to detail. Brutal route and challenging event but made to feel welcome. Supportive team and felt looked after. Would love to join you again. Maybe less mud next time?
